"Lenas Freckles" is a 2018 model, 6 year old sorrel mare.
Lena is a strong, 14.2 hh quarter horse.
She has been shown in the ranch versatility events, reining, cow work, ranch riding, and ranch trail, for the last two years. Lena has walked away with a championship in the SHTX Jr. Horse collegiate division.She has also held her own in the SHTX limited non pro box drive classes.
In the ranch riding classes, she consistently scores above a 72. She is very flashy in the show pen, and always catches the judges attention. She has so much natural talent and is a beautiful mover. She has all of the fancy buttons, and can be finished out in whatever direction you choose. She naturally wants to be in the ground, turns around correct, will lope circles with style, and watches a cow.
She has been lightly started on the heel side and is catching on very fast. She has also been ranched on and drug claves with ease during branding season.
This mare has so much heart and will go all day, everyday, if you ask her to. It would not take much to finish her out in whatever direction you choose. She has hock X-rays as of May 2024, as well as a negative on the 5 panel test as of August 2024.
